Lemon Garlic Prawns made in a Thermomix

This is my independent Thermomix homage to Rick Stein and the comforting appeal of garlic prawns. It keeps the spirit of the original inspiration, but the method is written fresh for TM6 and TM7 cooks who want clear settings and a warm, achievable result.

Ingredients

Thermomix method

  1. Chop garlic 3 sec / speed 6. Add butter, oil, lemon zest and chilli, sauté 3 min / 120°C / speed 1.
  2. Add the prawns and cook 6 min / 100°C / Reverse / speed 1, until just pink.
  3. Finish with lemon juice, salt and parsley. Serve with bread to mop the butter.

Aly's tips

  • Don't overcook — prawns are done the moment they turn pink.
  • A splash of white wine at step 1 is lovely.

Questions
